Transparency is the number one reason!!
As a patient you have to ammo yourself with understanding your insurance and how it works. Patients enter a medical office without understanding their financial responsibility beyond a copay and later get hit with a huge bill that typically was not expected or communicated.
As a provider we bill certain charges and try our best to assume what we will be reimbursed but it’s a gamble for us as well.
Concierge services are popping up everywhere. This is not because we are GREEDY! It only allows us to be TRANSPARENT with our patients and provide the quality of care that patients NEED.
